It really feels like business closures in Michigan are starting to become a trend. We’ve been reporting closure after closure since 2023, with last year being the worst of it. 2025 isn’t starting off too hot either, with more businesses calling it quits early in the year. So, what’s going on? Is this just the new normal? Well, unfortunately, we’re here to tell you about another major clothing retailer that’s just announced the closure of nearly 30 stores nationwide.

Talk about something to be thankful for, Target is selling a $20 Thanksgiving meal that will feed up to four people. According to USA Today, the meal includes all of your traditional Thanksgiving favorites, Frozen Turkey (up to 10 pounds) One Box of Stuffing Potatoes Gravy Jar Canned Green Beans Cream of Mushroom Soup Cranberry Sauce I do not recall Target offering a Thanksgiving meal last year, but they did. However, this year the deal is 20% cheaper.

A new Chick-fil-A opens this week in Wayne County. To date, there are over 30 locations in Michigan. The new spot is at 22250 Eureka Road in Taylor, 48180. Fans of the restaurant do not have long to wait. The new Taylor Chick-fil-A location opens on Thursday, October 17th, 2024. Chick-fil-A is known for chicken sandwiches and high-quality ingredients. I have to be honest, I have never been to a Chick-fil-A. Am I missing out?

They've run out of ideas. This has gotten stupid. I can't believe I'm still watching this. Drive-Thrus makes our lives much more convenient as we can pick up food or other products/services without having to get out of our vehicles. Woodchips BBQ has purchased the former Side Tracks Bar & Grill and Pizza Depot building in Lapeer. Rumors have been swirling throughout Lapeer County about this purchase, and Woodchips BBQ owner Patrick Hingst made the announcement today via social media. A name for the new spot has not been announced, but according to Hingst, this new restaurant will not be branded under the Woodchips BBQ moniker.
